Along with keynote speeches by renowned figures, the AG2009 welcomes applications for papers and panels. In an effort to substantiate the main and key themes.
The AG2009 will pay particular attention to papers and panels on the following issues:
- Engaging power to effect change
- Girls education of information, communication and technology
- Economic prosperity and equality
- Role of government policies to deliver female youth rights
- Civil society and self-help movement
- Social security, shared risks and responsibilities
- Education for female youth, purposes and social responsibility
- Role models to effect change in girls such as Father/Daughter, Boys/Men, Familiy, Teachers and ttStudent relationships.
- Global justice and social harmony
- Cultural diversity and tolerance
- Domestic Violence
- Devolution of Estate Act
- Registration of Customary Marriage and Divorce Act
The AG2009 invites and welcomes submissions for papers and panels on other related themes and topics so long as they emulate the main and key themes.
We cordially invite you to join the journey in building new actions, new directions and priorities for adolescent girls to be powerful agents of social change.
Be part of the process of envisioning and shaping girls as change agents to set the questions, to start the debates and to:
Share new knowledge and skills, document best practice and development strategies,
Empower each other in the pursuit of quality, excellence and innovation in practice and advocacy of adolescent girls,
Create opportunities of learning, as well as forums to expand the dialogue to find new solutions to empower adolescent girls or
New roles for adolescent girls to meet their challenging needs and problems.
How to submit a proposal
This call for Papers and Panels is open to all members of the global community: Scholars, International Organization Leaders, Civil Societies, NGO Leaders, Government Officials, Corporation Representatives, Journalists, ect.
Individuals, institutions or groups may propose papers or panels by completing the Paper and Proposal Submission form via on-line at the AG's 2009 official website (coming up soon) or emailed to girlsasagents@gmail.com
